The Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and driving Experience Marketing projects and campaigns in China. Based in Shanghai, this role serves as a key link between internal teams, agencies, vendors, and other partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with clear accountability across every stage of execution.
This position is ideal for a candidate with strong project management skills, a practical understanding of the China gaming and esports landscape, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment. The successful candidate should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, keeping stakeholders aligned, and maintaining clear visibility over project status, risks, and next steps.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution
Manage timelines, milestones, deliverables, and day-to-day coordination across China Experience Marketing programs, ensuring projects progress in a structured and timely manner.
Support end-to-end planning and execution for events, campaigns, and related programs in China, in alignment with team priorities and operating processes.
Use project management and collaboration tools such as Asana, Google Workspace, Slack, and WeCom to manage tasks, maintain transparency, and support smooth communication across local and global teams.
Build and maintain a China project dashboard to track project health, deadlines, risks, dependencies, and overall progress across active programs.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, local agencies, and vendors to ensure execution runs efficiently and in line with agreed scope and timelines.
Support the Operations Lead and wider team in planning, tracking, and following up on project tasks, and escalate risks or blockers in a timely manner.
Help ensure internal teams and external partners remain aligned on responsibilities, deadlines, and required deliverables.
Continuously improve project planning, documentation, and completion processes to match the pace of China’s gaming and esports calendar.
Events, Reviews, and Performance Tracking
Support project execution for China events and campaigns, including preparation, stakeholder coordination, issue follow-up, and post-program review.
Prepare post-event and post-campaign debriefs, summarizing performance, key learnings, execution challenges, and recommendations for future improvement.
Track and analyze key performance indicators such as engagement, reach, ROI, and delivery against objectives, with reference to relevant China market benchmarks where appropriate.
Provide clear and timely project updates to leadership and stakeholders, including progress, risks, actions, and upcoming milestones.
Stakeholder and Partner Management
Serve as the day-to-day contact for China-based agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of events and campaigns.
Translate global objectives into clear local project plans, timelines, and briefs that reflect China market conditions and execution realities.
Organize and facilitate regular project meetings with internal teams and external partners to keep programs on track and ensure timely decision-making.
Present project progress, campaign performance, and recommendations in a clear and practical way for both local and global stakeholders.
Reporting and Documentation
Prepare, update, and distribute project-related decks and reporting materials for China programs and events, ensuring they accurately reflect local context and execution status.
Maintain clear project documentation, including status reports, action trackers, risks, dependencies, meeting notes, and retrospective outputs.
Consolidate campaign results and platform-specific data from partners and relevant channels, and translate the findings into actionable recommendations.
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in project management or program coordination, preferably in gaming, esports, live events, marketing, or a related industry.
Experience working on China-market projects, or experience coordinating closely with China-based teams, partners, or agencies.
Strong understanding of China’s gaming and esports ecosystem, including major platforms, agency practices, and local market dynamics.
Proficiency with common collaboration and project management tools such as Google Workspace, Asana, Slack, and WeCom.
Strong written and spoken Mandarin, with business-level English for communication with global stakeholders.
Strong project planning, follow-up, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time while maintaining attention to detail and delivery quality.
Good judgment, problem-solving ability, and a practical, execution-focused working style.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across functions, teams, and external partners.
Interest in gaming and esports, with a solid understanding of the China gaming community and competitive landscape.
Able to support cross-time-zone collaboration and occasional evening or weekend work during major events or key project periods.
Willingness to travel domestically within China and internationally when required.
This role is based in Logitech G’s Shanghai office and requires regular on-site collaboration.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or above is preferred. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
