Your role and responsibilities
As a seasoned Project Manager in Application Operations, you will oversee the end-to-end implementation of security frameworks and DevOps platforms, ensuring seamless operations and incident management. You will leverage your expertise to drive strategic initiatives, foster collaboration, and deliver high-quality solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Manage Implementation of Security Frameworks: Oversee the build and support of middleware components, reviewing and implementing monitoring requirements to ensure smooth operations and incident management. • Lead Transition and Operations: Manage the transition from build to run and operate phases, ensuring seamless handovers and minimal disruptions to business operations. • Drive Incident and Problem Management: Provide strong leadership in incident, problem, and change management during the run and operate phase, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations. • Track Project Progress: Determine and track scope, milestones, tasks, risks, assumptions, objectives, and dependencies relating to projects, creating a governance framework to report progress. • Identify Automation Opportunities: Constantly seek areas for implementing automation and new technologies, driving productivity improvements and optimizing operations.
Required technical and professional expertise
• Deep Expertise in Security Frameworks: Proven experience with end-to-end implementation of security frameworks and DevOps platforms, including build and support of middleware components, and reviewing and implementing monitoring requirements. • Experience in IT Service Management: Strong background in managing the transition from build to run and operate phases, ensuring smooth operations and incident management, with a focus on incident, problem, and change management. • Project Governance Expertise: Experience with determining and tracking scope, milestones, tasks, risks, assumptions, objectives, and dependencies relating to projects, creating a governance framework to report progress. • Technical Leadership in Automation: Deep understanding of automation and new technologies, with a proven track record of identifying areas for implementation and driving productivity improvements. • Stakeholder Management Experience: Proven ability to proactively build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to identify opportunities to add value and engage team members as needed.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Automation Technologies Knowledge: Deep understanding of automation tools and technologies, with the ability to identify areas for implementation and drive productivity improvements. Familiarity with industry trends and emerging technologies in automation. • Advanced IT Service Management: Experience with IT service management frameworks and methodologies, including incident, problem, and change management. Knowledge of ITIL principles and practices is beneficial. • Emerging Security Trends: Familiarity with emerging security trends, threats, and technologies, with the ability to analyze and implement new security frameworks and DevOps platforms.
