Position Overview
Under the direct leadership of the General Manager, the Project Management Department Manager is primarily responsible for supporting project managers in overseeing new projects undertaken by the factory and affiliated companies within the group. This role ensures alignment with all corporate policies and procedures, verifies and finalizes project quotations, manages daily departmental operations, and coordinates activities with other functional departments. Additionally, the position is dedicated to establishing and maintaining world-class project management standards, training, and upskilling employees in project management capabilities, and ensuring project execution meets industry-leading benchmarks.
Job Responsibilities
Develop annual departmental critical operations tasks and KPIs, monitor project managers' execution, and ensure achievement of team performance goals.
Oversee departmental budgeting, execution monitoring, and cost control; optimize resource allocation to enhance cost efficiency.
Formulate and continuously improve project management processes, ensuring effective implementation of site systems and standards (e.g., IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001) throughout the project lifecycle.
Regularly evaluate process execution outcomes, propose improvement recommendations, and drive implementation to elevate project management standardization.
Supervise the effectiveness of project managers' daily work, coordinate internal and external resources, and ensure project progress, quality, and costs align with expectations.
Guarantee timely delivery of samples, maintain customer relationships, address unforeseen issues during project execution, and mitigate delivery risks.
Organize regular customer communication meetings, gather feedback, and respond promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with the R&D, FAE, PM team to identify potential business opportunities, participate in new customer development, and evaluate new business prospects.
Develop departmental talent development plans, establish a talent pipeline, and enhance team project management expertise through training and coaching.
Foster a collaborative team culture, strengthen cross-departmental communication and execution, and drive overall team efficiency improvements.
Fulfill responsibilities as the primary person in charge of workplace safety, implement site safety management systems, and ensure employee safety and regulatory compliance in production environments.
Ensure project management activities comply with quality, safety, and environmental system requirements to reduce operational risks.
Complete ad-hoc or strategic tasks assigned by superiors to support the company’s overall business development needs.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in engineering or a technical field.
Certified PMP(Project Management Professional)or other relevant project management certifications.
Minimum of five years of project management experience, with priority given to candidates with experience in the electronics industry; familiarity with IATF16949 and APQP processes is advantageous.
Experience in metal processing and die-cutting component manufacturing, particularly stamping or EMI foam processing, is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
Proficient in computer operations and office software, with basic blueprint reading capabilities.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and coordination skills, capable of working effectively under pressure.
Strong learning ability and teamwork spirit.
