The Role
The Operations Lead will be responsible for operational planning and execution for Logitech G Experience Marketing programs in China. Based in Shanghai, this role leads the day-to-day operations function for China gaming and esports programs, working closely with local teams, external partners, and global stakeholders to ensure programs are executed efficiently, compliantly, and in line with business goals.
This role is well suited to a candidate who combines strong operational discipline with hands-on knowledge of the China gaming and esports market. The successful candidate should be comfortable leading a local team, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, managing budgets and compliance requirements, and supporting program growth across both online and offline channels.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management and Program Execution
Lead and manage the China operations team for Experience Marketing programs, providing clear direction, prioritization, and support for day-to-day execution.
Oversee end-to-end operational planning and delivery for Logitech G gaming and esports programs across mainland China, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and execution requirements are met.
Develop and manage the annual China operations plan, including budget planning, vendor costs, platform fees, and local execution requirements.
Build, maintain, and continuously improve the China operations dashboard to track program status, KPIs, financials, risks, and progress.
Prepare operational documentation, workflows, legal terms and conditions, and program requirements in Chinese and English where needed.
Coordinate with internal legal, finance, procurement, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of local programs.
Manage contracts, statements of work, and related documentation with local agencies and vendors, in partnership with legal and procurement stakeholders.
Work closely with the Project Manager to monitor project progress, resolve escalated issues, and maintain alignment between operational execution and program objectives.
Compliance, Risk Control, and Prize Fulfillment
Manage prize fulfillment operations in compliance with China regulations, including individual income tax requirements, customs processes for imported goods, and annual record keeping.
Ensure program execution complies with relevant local laws, regulations, and platform policies, including data privacy, advertising, and promotional activity requirements.
Identify operational risks in advance and coordinate issue resolution with internal teams and external partners.
Monitor policy or rule changes across key China platforms such as Bilibili, Douyin, WeChat Mini Programs, and other relevant channels, and adjust operational processes when needed.
Retail and Business Support
Support the expansion and integration of online programs into China retail channels to help ensure a consistent consumer experience across digital and offline touchpoints.
Manage quarterly CRM and retail-related programs across key retail channels, including JD.com, Tmall, Suning, and offline retail partners.
Track and report program performance and contribution to business growth, including revenue-related outcomes where applicable.
Provide regular updates for internal business reviews and presentation materials to ensure global stakeholders have clear visibility into China program priorities and progress.
Stakeholder Communication and Team Leadership
Serve as the primary operations contact between the China team and global Experience Marketing stakeholders, ensuring clear, timely, and practical communication across regions and time zones.
Lead regular operations review meetings with China stakeholders and maintain alignment with broader global planning rhythms.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with local game publishers, gaming cafés, key opinion leaders, agencies, and platform partners across the China ecosystem.
Support team development through coaching, clear ways of working, and ongoing process improvement.
Help maintain an efficient, collaborative, and accountable team environment in the Shanghai office.
Reporting and Process Improvement
Use data and market insights to support operational decision-making and program optimization.
Improve workflows, documentation standards, and execution processes across China programs to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
Review program performance on a regular basis and prepare clear, business-friendly reporting for internal stakeholders.
Promote continuous improvement by turning program learnings, operational feedback, and stakeholder input into actionable process updates.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in operations management, program management, or related roles, preferably in gaming, esports, consumer marketing, or large-scale event programs.
At least 2 years of experience working on China-market programs or in a China-based role.
Strong knowledge of China’s gaming and esports ecosystem, including key platforms, communities, and consumer behavior.
Practical experience with China-specific compliance requirements, including promotional prize tax processes, customs coordination, data privacy requirements, and advertising-related considerations.
Experience working with China retail and e-commerce ecosystems such as JD.com, Tmall, WeChat Mini Programs, and offline retail channels.
Proven people management experience, with the ability to lead teams, align stakeholders, and deliver results in a fast-moving environment.
Strong written and spoken Mandarin and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with both local teams and global stakeholders.
Proficiency with common collaboration and project management tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, WeCom, and Asana.
Strong vendor management, contract coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Practical problem-solving ability, sound judgment, and a proactive working style.
Ability to work effectively in a global organization and adapt to a dynamic business environment.
Able to support cross-time-zone collaboration and occasional work outside standard office hours during critical project periods.
Willingness to travel domestically within China and internationally when required.
This role is based in Logitech G’s Shanghai office and requires regular on-site collaboration.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
