Qnity MBA Internship - AI Market Analyst in Shanghai, China

Responsibilities:

  • Support AP Sales Strategic Planning team by building a fact‑based view of growth drivers, ramps, and market realities (focus on AI/HPC + advanced interconnect value chains

  • Conduct structured market / customer / competitor research and translate it into clear “what’s growing vs what’s not” narratives and implications for commercial actions

  • Build driver-based analyses (base/upside/downside), quantify key breakpoints, and create simple driver trees/bridges to improve forecast credibility and decision making.

  • Develop reusable outputs (heatmaps, ramp timelines, risk/assumption summaries) that help Sales teams track weekly signals and prioritize growth bets

  • Produce exec‑ready slides/one‑pagers and present insights to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical toolkit (Excel modeling; comfort with dashboards/Power BI preferred) and ability to synthesize messy inputs into sharp insights.

  • Strategy & market intelligence fundamentals: TAM/value chain thinking, competitive landscaping, customer segmentation, and hypothesis‑driven research.

  • Structured problem solving (issue trees, driver decomposition, scenario framing) and bias‑checking/assumption clarity

  • Executive communication: crisp writing, storyline building, and slide craft; can present to senior stakeholders with clear “so what / now what.”

  • Stakeholder & teamwork skills: proactive follow‑ups with Sales/Applications, ability to work across geographies, high ownership and learning agility.
