Nike Lead, Strategy Manager, GC in Shanghai, China
Job Purpose
The Lead Central Strategy Manager, Greater China, is responsible for developing and implementing firm wide strategy, based on in-depth knowledge of global and Greater China functions within Nike and best practices of the industry. This role is also responsible for reviewing business performance to drive alignment and forward actions with Greater China leadership team as well as global counterparts.
Key Job Accountability
Strategy Development: Lead and drive the development of 1-year, 3-year and 5-year strategic plan for Nike Greater China. Translate organization objectives into a clear team strategy. Sets and meets goals that can have far reaching impact on business segment. Identify relevant measures and drive accountability for on-going performance against business and strategic objectives. Work with key functional stakeholders to drive projects of strategic importance to Nike’s Greater China business growth.
Business Review Process: Manage major business reporting process milestones and deliverables; Work with cross functional teams to help Greater China GM prepare for global & Greater China monthly and quarterly review.
Requi r ement
5+ years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting firms and leading consumer brands, MBA a plus
Consumer & sport obsessed, deep curiosity for sport culture, consumer behavior, and marketplace dynamics
Outstanding strategic thinking & business acumen, ability to structure complex problems and translate insights into clear strategic actions
Exceptional ability to articulate ideas, synthesize complexity, and drive alignment in a matrix organization
Strong team player who builds trusted relationships and operates effectively with x-functional teams
Clear and concise communication in English and Chinese, written and verbal.
