Job description

Main department:

Technical – Support to Flight Test

Description of the mission:

• Work as FSE (Field Support Engineer) to represent NXL (Nexcelle) on different flight test locations, acting as the primary interface between CFM, COMAC, and our internal engineering teams.

• Plan and guarantee the successful execution of all nacelle maintenance activities.

• Identify, document, and communicate technical issues with clarity and precision to enable rapid resolution by the NXL engineering team.

• Work as FTE (Flight Test Engineer), collaborate with the home office to obtain dispositions and implement solutions, also product improvement.

• Track and manage flight test spare parts and consumables in coordination with CFM, ensuring availability meets flight test schedules.

Contact :

• He reports to the Flight Test Engineering leader

• He serves as the key liaison between the Airframer, the Engine Manufacturer, and Safran's technical leadership.

Specificities of the mission:

The Flight Test Support Representative will be in charge of coordinating all nacelles technical interventions to be done on the aircraft, in relation with the Engine manufacturer and with the Flight Test Engineering leader. He will answer Engine manufacturer requests within given time in order to lessen down time length.

Candidate skills & requirements

Must-haves:

• Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in:

o Engine technical assistance for an Airframer, OR

o Customer support for an airline, with strong knowledge of aircraft or nacelle maintenance.

• Hands-on experience with rework processes (smoothing, repainting, etc.) on aircraft or nacelle components.

• Fluency in English and Chinese (mandatory).

• French language skills? Highly preferred.
