AON Associate Director in Shanghai, China
Associate Director
Job Responsibilities: • Engagement of external distribution channels (lawyers, investment banks, fund managers, accounting firms and private equity firms) and internal Aon client service teams to develop relationships with clients and prospects. • Advisory and delivery of TS solutions (primarily W&I insurance) on M&A transactions (whether China-based or offshore). • Placement of W&I insurance solution on M&A transactions for sophisticated clients. • Preparation of presentation materials, the collection of data and other collateral for business development and specific deals. • Assist the broader AMATS team on various proposals and execution aspects of Transaction Advisory Services and Human Capital M&A. • Require occasional travel to visit clients and support producer and sales activities.
Requirements: • Experienced in M&A practice with a track of executing closed transactions. • Familiarity with transaction documents such as sale and purchase agreements, knowledge of the due diligence process and warranties and indemnities. • Strong people skills with the agility to balance competing interests to secure optimal outcomes and resolve conflict constructively. • Clear logics and persuasive presenter with sharp commercial acumen and exceptional English and Mandarin. • Proven ability to run multiple concurrent workstreams under pressure while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. • Demonstrated stamina for high-velocity mandates and a collective commitment to advancing solutions. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), strong cross-functional collaboration skills. • Preferred: High-growth profile; CPA, ACCA, CFA, or legal bar holder will be an added advantage.
