VF Corporation Assistant Manager, Treasury in Shanghai, China
ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
The Associate treasury manager for the Asia-Pacific region will be responsible for the development of treasury strategies to support and optimize the expansion and transformation of VF’s Asia operations. The Associate treasury manager will support the Treasury Director (APAC) with activities to maximize cash flow, cash concentration and repatriation; to minimize FX risks and to improve cash / FX management efficiencies.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE :
Monitoring region’s treasury operations with treasury system to ensure effective management of Asia cash, investments, debt and foreign exchange
Supervising Treasury analyst in daily operational activities such as bank mandate update, system trouble shooting and audit requirements
Performing daily FX Spot trading. Collaborating with Corporate treasury to support foreign exchange risk management, optimize FX hedging strategies
Performing monthly treasury reporting, cashflow forecasting and FX analyses
Assisting with the management of China local banking relationships
Supporting treasury projects like system onboarding and bank RFPs
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU :
Execute business strategy and vision to ensure risk mitigation and cash optimization
8+ years of working experience and 5+ years in Treasury, retail /FMCG background preferred
Embrace change and be open minded to changes in the business and markets
Deep functional acumen
Ability to process and communicate complex information and clearly convey messages to influence and persuade others
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Mandarin
