Honeywell Advanced Project Engr in Shanghai, China
Effectively leads a global, cross-functional Technical NPI team to ensure On Time Delivery per Committed Schedule, meeting Milestone Fidelity, Yield, and Quality and Cost expectations to achieve overall success of the assigned projects.
Single point of ownership and accountability for assigned projects; New Product Introduction (NPI), Value Engineering (VE) and Component Engineering (CE) projects.
Excellent communication skills at all levels, establishing the effective co-working team with key global stakeholders, functional leaders and team members. Leads the co-working team to update project progress on daily basis, maintaining visual reports for project tracking and management.
Effectively utilizes Six Sigma Methodology, Lean concepts and PMO MOS tools (i.e. Accolade, Jira, MS Project) and concepts to maximize efficiency and quality.
Drives the project progress and reports project status with consistent information to stakeholders.
Ability to quickly assess unclear, complex, and ambiguous situations and reduce into distinct, clear, timely, and stable direction for the development teams.
Develops work breakdown structures, identifies dependencies and assumption, analyzes critical path, analyzes risks and constraints, builds mitigations and detailed project plan and monitors the plan in executive stage
Technical and engineering background in Electronic, Mechanical, Control and Software, understands the product’s technical requirements, uses technical experience to support and interact with engineering and marketing to support product definition, project scope, risks management, design control activities and decision making
Contribute in generating business analysis to supports sales to achieve business target.
Bachelor's degree or above in engineering
5+ years working experiences in complex integrated product development project management with cross engineering discipline across mechanical, control, electrical, firmware & software (Project Manager Position)
3+ years working experience in manufacturing engineering industry, international and multicultural experience is a strength.
Clear understanding of work breakdown structures, developing and managing project schedules.
Excellent time management, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills. Strong problem-solving skills, strong sense of responsibility and urgent
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) from the Project Management Institute will be an advantage.
Prior experience with SCRUM / Agile methodology in both hardware and software will be an advantage.
Fluent in both verbal and written English
Excellent in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
Good experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects in a global environment.
Domestic and or international travel maybe required.
