As an Infrastructure Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician in Shalimar FL, you will play a vital role in monitoring and maintaining an organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and maximum uptime for our clients. You will be responsible for the continuous surveillance of servers, networks, and telecommunications equipment.
Here's What You'll Do:
You will monitor network performance, security systems, and hardware/software environments to proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact business operations. Acting as the first point of contact for technical support, you will troubleshoot and resolve connectivity problems, including IP switching, routing configurations, and firewall management.
Your role will involve the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of servers, network devices, and software updates to support infrastructure reliability. You will maintain comprehensive documentation of incidents and repairs, and produce regular reports on network performance, uptime metrics, and system health.
When complex technical challenges arise, you will escalate issues to senior engineers and coordinate with field technicians to ensure timely resolution of onsite requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Flexibility to support 24/7 operations, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations as needed.
Ideally, You’ll Have
Previous internship or relevant experience in IT infrastructure
Strong technical knowledge of network infrastructure
Excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
