Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
Join a dynamic team in one of our three distinct assembly departments, with available positions across first and second shifts. Be part of a leading automation technology environment where you will work with mechanical brakes, gear motors, and drives, primarily used in medical, agricultural, and government equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform assembly tasks in Magnet Assembly, Gear Motor, Medical Assembly, and Electronics Assembly departments.
Read and interpret blueprints to accurately assemble components.
Utilize hand tools such as calipers and micrometers, and power tools for assembly and repair tasks.
Work with mechanical and electronic parts, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to safety protocols while wearing gloves during assembly.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 1 year experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Mechanical inclination, suitable for those with hobby auto mechanics or medical assembly experience.
Independent work ability, maintaining focus and task completion.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanically inclined with a strong aptitude for mechanical and electrical assembly.
Experience in soldering and mechanical repair.
Familiarity with sub-assembly processes.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled, clean manufacturing facility with bench assembly tasks. This low volume, high product mix environment requires assembling multiple products in a day, emphasizing attention to detail. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.70 - $26.45/hr.
