Inside Sales Representative (Shakopee, MN)
Position Overview
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for selling GN ReSound–branded and private label hearing aids to audiologists, dispensers, physicians, hospitals, and other hearing healthcare professionals, primarily via phone. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong customer relationships to support and grow existing business.

Reach or exceed territory sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis via incremental sales increases, effective introduction of new products, promotions, marketing opportunities, seminars and courses.
Build relationships with existing customers by effectively communicating via phone and email to sell products and services and respond to customer concerns.
Expand ReSound sales by managing prospect sales cycle from initial contact to close, playing a key role in revenue growth and new customer acquisition in defined territory.
Partner with outside sales representatives, marketing representative, professional trainer, and customer service within Channels of distribution and segmented accounts.
Detail phone calls in CRM system (salesforce.com).
Analyze weekly sales reports and formulate action plans with outside counterparts to increase Points of Sales and Share of Wallet.
Strategic account management for selected accounts with heavy focus on preparing annual customer marketing plan, with quarterly updates, unit trend analysis, price setting and monitoring and renegotiation to gain and protect unit share.
Understand and deliver value statements about the following programs: Accelerate, Business Development programs, Focus Marketing, ReSound Pro, Fitting Software, etc.
Meet all performance and behavior expectations communicated by inside sales management.
Perform responsibilities as directed, delivering desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality and professionalism.
Establish and maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers and business partners.
Update and maintain SFDC (Main CRM database system) continuously with accurate information for accounts you are responsible for.
Attend trade shows, conventions, sales meetings, customer incentive trips, training seminars, and in-person sales calls and other functions as needed (approximately 4 times per year).

History of meeting or surpassing sales goals.
Well-developed interpersonal skills alongside clear written and verbal communication.
Clear and effective phone communication combined with solid organizational skills.
Capable of working effectively, independently, or on a team, and taking initiative when appropriate.
Ability to develop trust and build relationships easily with customers, prospects, and internal teams.
Demonstrated focus on providing customers with high-quality support and service.
Adept at developing rapport and using active listening techniques.
Demonstrate the behavioral and technical skills necessary to effectively complete position responsibilities.
Attend ongoing Company sales and technical training and take personal initiative for professional development as needed.
Safeguard sensitive and confidential Company information.
Follow the HR policy including all company and department policies and procedures.
Computer and typing skills including Word, Excel, Outlook.
Learn the contact management software.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experience and knowledge (Business or Speech & Hearing emphasis preferred).
Experience:
Demonstrated phone sales experience in the medical device or hearing industry.
Minimum of 2 years’ Business to Business selling experience (non-retail).
1-2 years sales experience with outside sales experience preferred.
Travel: Occasional Travel; 3-4 times a year for sales conferences.

Pay Transparency Notice:
Total annual compensation for this position includes competitive base pay, along with performance-based commissions that reward you for your contributions to the company’s success. The annual base pay for this position will be $50,000.00 and the total annual compensation, including at-plan commissions, may be up to $140,000.00.
