Regional Oncology / Hematology Clinic & Infusion Center Operations Manager (RN)

Pay: $40–$55/hour

JOB SUMMARY

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of multiple oncology clinics and infusion centers, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care. This role leads both clinical and administrative teams, supports staff development, and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations & Leadership

  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and daily clinic/infusion center operations

  • Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate clinical and administrative staff

  • Conduct staff rounding and lead team meetings

  • Manage team performance, development, and retention

Patient Care & Quality

  • Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality oncology and hematology care

  • Monitor patient satisfaction and implement improvement plans

  • Support coordination of care across providers and departments

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and regulatory agencies (Joint Commission, OSHA, CLIA)

  • Ensure accurate documentation, billing, and medical record management

  • Oversee pre-authorizations, claims, and revenue cycle processes

Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Manage budgets, payroll, and operational expenses

  • Monitor billing, collections, and financial performance

  • Oversee supply management and vendor coordination

Program Development

  • Develop policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives

  • Analyze performance metrics and implement process improvements

  • Support staff training and professional development

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business, or related field

  • RN license required (or Pharmacist/Medical Technologist preferred)

  • Oncology certification preferred

Experience

  • 3+ years in healthcare (oncology preferred)

  • 2+ years in leadership/management role

  • Experience in multi-provider or clinic setting

Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance

  • Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office

  • Financial and operational management experience

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Tennessee driver’s license

  • Ability to travel locally

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
