Overview

The Vice President - Retail serves as a strategic commercial leader responsible for driving long-term growth, elevating the client experience, and ensuring operational excellence across the retail network and broader commercial functions. This role provides visionary leadership to high-performing teams, delivering sustained revenue growth, profitability, and alignment with the brand’s highest standards.

As a cultural ambassador and trusted advisor, the Vice President, Retail builds strong internal and external partnerships, enhances client development initiatives, and inspires retail leadership to execute with excellence. This leader models a high-performance, client-centric culture grounded in accountability, innovation, and commercial impact while ensuring strong alignment across commercial priorities and business functions.

Key Accountabilities

Commercial Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies that drive revenue growth, elevate conversion, and strengthen long-term client engagement across retail and related commercial channels.

  • Leverage analytics and market insights to identify opportunities, anticipate risks, and shape proactive business plans that support sustainable business expansion.

  • Partner closely with retail leadership to build strategic customer development programs and drive consistent commercial execution across all doors and business touchpoints.

  • Lead client development initiatives for retail leaders and Client Advisors, reinforcing a strong culture of relationship building and client retention.

  • Champion a market-driven mindset that aligns teams with evolving customer behaviors, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.

Business Performance Management

  • Own and deliver annual sales and profitability targets through disciplined business performance management and strong cross-functional alignment.

  • Ensure strong audit results and adherence to operational controls, maintaining a healthy risk and compliance environment across all areas of responsibility.

  • Optimize resource allocation to maximize ROI on investments, operational efficiency, and commercial outcomes.

  • Ensure day-to-day activities are aligned with core retail strategies, global priorities, and broader business objectives.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure all stores consistently operate to brand standards, delivering seamless systems performance and an elevated client experience.

  • Conduct regular store visits to evaluate execution, strengthen operational discipline, and provide real-time coaching.

  • Remove barriers to performance by identifying operational gaps and implementing effective corrective actions.

  • Build a culture of continuous improvement that drives consistency and operational excellence across the retail organization and supporting functions.

People & Leadership Development

  • Provide clear direction, coaching, and performance leadership across the retail organization.

  • Build a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, empowerment, and collaborative leadership.

  • Identify, develop, and retain top talent to strengthen future leadership pipelines within the business.

  • Ensure that all policies, procedures, and brand standards are communicated effectively and executed with excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in luxury retail, with a proven record of driving commercial performance

  • Strong communication and presentation skills in both English and Korean

  • High proficiency with MS Office and digital tools

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Highly driven, energetic, and self-motivated with strong commercial acumen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a global or matrixed organization

  • Professional experience in the jewelry or luxury watch industry

  • Foundational knowledge of gemstones, jewelry, and timepieces
