Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Architect and design secure firmware root of trust solutions for embedded systems and IoT devices
Lead security assessments and penetration testing of firmware and embedded systems
Develop and implement secure boot processes and trusted execution environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security features into product designs
Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for firmware and hardware components
Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities in embedded systems
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in firmware security best practices
Contribute to the development of security policies and standards for firmware development
Participate in security audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations
Engage with customers and partners to address complex firmware security challenges
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with 15+ years of experience in firmware development and security
Extensive knowledge of embedded systems, firmware security best practices, and C/C++ programming
Expertise in secure boot processes, trusted execution environments, and cryptography
Proven skills in reverse engineering, vulnerability assessment, and implementing security measures for embedded systems
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
Experience with IoT security and familiarity with industry security standards
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
