Qnity is seeking a talented Technical Service & Development Specialist to help exapand the Karlez® technoloy leadership in semiconductor and industrial markets. in Korea. This role partners closely with global and regional teams while working directly with leading semiconductor and industrial customers. You will identify new opportunities, lead development projects, deliver technical expertise, and represent Qnity as the preferred sealing solution provider in mission‑critical applications.
Responsibilities
Provide technical service, troubleshooting, and training to support customer success and business growth
Identify development opportunities by analyzing equipment sealing points and unmet application needs
Lead development projects end‑to‑end, from concept and testing to qualification and commercialization
Build strong technical relationships with key engineers and end‑users at strategic accounts
Collaborate with global COE teams to introduce new material and application technologies
Benchmark competitive products and provide insights to define Karlez® value propositions
Research local technical and laboratory resources to support customer requirements
Conduct laboratory testing and generate technical data based on customer and market needs
Deliver technical presentations at customer meetings, partner events, conferences, and distributor trainings
Continuously learn emerging technologies and industry trends
Participate in industry associations and technical forums to strengthen external networks
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree + or higher in Applied Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience as a technical engineer, including direct engagement with external customers
Strong problem‑solving skills using analytical approaches and data-driven insights
Proven ability to understand customer needs and drive new product/application development
Broad technical curiosity across semiconductor and industrial applications
Excellent communication and presentation skills (Korean & English)
Ability to work independently with limited supervision as well as collaborate in cross‑functional teams
Ability to travel domestically and internationally (50% or more)
Preferred : Technical engineering experience in semiconductor fabs (DRAM or 3D NAND highly preferred)
