Job Description Summary
Site Service Engineer is a key role delivering range of service solutions primarily for S.Korea customers & OEM projects. Daily activities include but not limited to technical support, onsite services performing product installation & commissioning, case & process management on Monitoring & Diagnostics products. The role will be working with local channel partner teams, sales, technical application & service engineers across CEAP region including factory in UK reporting to the Region Services Leader based in Australia.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
The key responsibility is to deliver onsite services [Installation & Commissioning] for ongoing projects in S.Korea, manage and execute Grid Automation product solution, case management & repairs remotely and/or on customer site where necessary.
Become the local and regional product expert to support customers and channel partners in their planning, execution, product training and services support.
An expert in utilizing customer case management tool – Salesforce, own & deliver the resolution of post-sales technical customer issue cases.
Support an international team of GE VERNOVA engineers related to product services, troubleshooting, quotes, product quality improvement, customer feedback and sales.
Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve complex customer issues remotely, channel repair centre and on site fully independently.
Provide necessary technical details and improvement recommendations to R&D, Quality teams for product and process improvements.
Maintain accurate and traceable records works completed and prepare regular reports as and when required.
Manage local inventory, appropriate stock levels, re-ordering and logistics of equipment and parts in/out of base.
Maintain high standard in quality of work, environment, health and safety at work, including working nearby HV/LV equipments.
Engage with the customer promoting different service offerings, product range and provide full pre/post-sales support to the sales team whenever required.
Communicate schedule details, project milestones, time & service history sheets, manpower & tools/equipment requirements to the service leader. Qualification Requirements:
Degree in Engineering from an accredited university. Major in Electrical and/or Electronics engineering is preferred.
Must have minimum 2 year experience working in power substation environment on transformer monitoring, control & system protection relays, technical support & field services.
Certificates/licenses for EHS, electrical work, technician, construction and other such is a plus.
Proficient in both spoken and written English and Korean is a must.
Expertise in monitoring & diagnostic applications, communication protocols, operating computers, Windows, MS Office tools and other related computer hardware/software configuration.
Strong interpersonal skills supported by strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Desired Characteristics:
Able to work independently with minimal supervision, work with international factories, willing to travel to customer sites.
