About the Role:

As an Inside Sales Associate at OPIS, a Dow Jones Company, you will join a high-energy team dedicated to delivering essential market intelligence to the Energy and Chemical industries. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will focus on identifying growth opportunities and supporting our existing client base through a solution-oriented approach. You will play a vital role in expanding our market presence by engaging directly with professionals to understand their business challenges and demonstrating how our data-driven solutions provide a competitive edge.

You Will:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of sales inquiries, ensuring timely follow-up to convert leads into active opportunities.

  • Execute a high volume of outreach to qualify prospective customers and maintain a consistent pipeline within the Salesforce ecosystem.

  • Analyze client business requirements to effectively position OPIS products as essential tools for their operational success.

  • Drive revenue growth by securing renewals and identifying up-selling opportunities within your assigned account territory.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets.

  • Provide accurate weekly forecasting and sales reporting to help track progress against departmental goals.

  • Cultivate long-term partnerships by conducting regular review calls and resolving customer queries with a focus on value delivery.

You Have:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales-driven environment, ideally Oil & Gas and Petrochemical, or Other energy industry

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English

  • An undergraduate degree in Chemicals, Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate the foundational stages of a sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.

  • Proficiency in using CRM tools (such as Salesforce) and Microsoft Office applications to manage daily workflows.
