We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as Director, Medical Affairs, Kite International Region who will be responsible for driving medical strategy and execution for the International Region. This position reports to the Head of Medical Affairs, Kite International Region.

Key Responsibilities

Director, Medical Affairs, Kite International Region

  • Contribute to the overall medical strategies development by embedding INT Medical needs into Global Medical strategy across lymphoma, leukemia and multiple myeloma.

  • Provide strategic guidance for development and execution of Medical Plans of Action (POAs) and cross-functional projects.

  • Lead and execute regional medical events (e.g., Advisory Programs, Educational Forums, Regional Conferences) in collaboration with Medical Operation function.

  • Collaborate with country teams and global stakeholders on scientific disclosure plans/publication planning, Integrated Evidence Generation Plan (IEGP), MA research programs, global listening priorities.

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with thought leaders, investigators, and external stakeholders.

  • Represent INT in internal meetings and external forums, including global medical meetings (GMT), scientific meetings, and regulatory engagements.

  • Support INT geographic expansion project and act as medical experts providing expertise to commercialization and development teams.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and strategic alignment.

  • Maintain clinical, scientific, and technical expertise in hematology/oncology and the company’s therapeutic areas of interest.

Required Knowledge, Experience & Skills

  • Advanced degree (i.e. M.D., Pharm.D., or Ph.D.) with significant clinical and research experience in the key therapeutic areas.

  • At least 10+ years of experience in medical affairs and oncology or hematology.

  • Experience in managing a medical team of a pharmaceutical company, at country or international level (direct management or indirect management experience)

  • Proven track record of working closely with commercial, market access, and other functions in an international matrix structure with ability to influence without authority

  • Scientific acumen and credibility to effectively communicate and discuss medical information

  • Proven business acumen and enterprise mindset

  • Experience of working across geographies or in regional roles will be an advantage

  • Flexibility and appreciation for different affiliates, systems, and cultural differences.

  • Willingness to learn, Self-starter and able to operate independently with minimal guidance, along with ability to articulate next steps

  • Embrace and demonstrate highest ethical and compliance standards

  • Strategic mindset, operational discipline and organizational and project management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with excellent judgment and ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to travel up to 20% and demonstrate cultural intelligence to work in an international setting

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Able to work across different time-zone
