Job Title: Business Processes Senior Consultant - Data Management & Analytics (BDC, SAC, Datasphere, BW, HANA), South Korea
Summary
Analytics is one of the fastest growing areas and this role requires using innovation and state-of-the-art software to help customers deploy cloud-based solutions. As we are strengthening our team in this exciting growth area, we are looking for a senior/principal consultant who can bring an entrepreneur’s mindset and help our customers on their journey of innovation and digital transformation. As a Senior consultant you will also be expected to maintain a broad internal network within the organization to support in demand generation for practice and your personal utilization. As a Senior expert in the SAP Business Data Cloud Analytics and Insight Services team you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of Analytics and Data Management solutions with a focus on Cloud including SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA Cloud and BW Lift & Shift to RISE.
What you'll do (Key Responsibilities & Tasks)
In this role, you will work directly with Line of Business, Industry and technology experts to translate our customers’ business needs into outcome-based analytics solutions.
• Deliver expertise and strategic advisory to help customers develop analytics roadmap and strategy that ties into customers’ vision and business imperatives.
• Bring strong thought-leadership and cloud mindset with clear understanding of Cloud concepts and Cloud architecture in order to help SAP customers on their journey to the cloud.
• Articulate and lead analytics business use case discovery working with business users at all levels including C-suite, executives and senior managers.
• Lead the design, build and deployment of Analytics and Data Management solutions for SAP customers.
• Ability to work as a visualization architect to recommend the best visualization stories for customer’s business KPI’s.
• Contribute to solution knowledge base with specific areas of expertise, Develop and document enterprise knowledge in the form of technical articles, and best practices.
• Team player, proactive networking attributes, results and execution focused, self-starter.
• Willingness to participate in sales process, if needed, as a subject matter expert.
• Focusing on planning and delivering PrS(Preferred Success Services) or SP (Success Plan Services) as an expert remotely and/or onsite.
• High willingness to learn in the areas of new innovations around Business AI and should keep abreast of relevant new SAP features / releases.
• Engage with customers and engagement teams to scope solutions landscape and build customer proposals.
• Willingness to travel on short notice for varying durations.
Also, you will be enabled in specific business domain and conduct activities/tasks below.
• Drives business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions and Maps business processes into SAP solution functionalities & features.
• Drives change management to achieve customer’s business transformation objectives from SAP company.
• Design Customer Processes, Configuration of the system and Identification of gaps; designing custom processes.
• Drives deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs or industries.
• Supports pre-sales activities > Performs solution reviews and feasibility studies.
• Supports escalated projects > Occasionally takes over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery.
• Supports line manager(s) in people development tasks.
• Delivers customer workshops and training > Supports in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success.
• Introduces SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard content and experience for customer success.
• Creates project documentation and documentation of delivered services.
What you bring (Experience & Educational Requirements)
• Minimum of 10 yrs proven working experience with analytics and data management solutions in an enterprise SAP environment
• Extensive experience on, at least, one of the following products: SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) , SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, Lift & Shift of SAP BW in RISE or SAP Business Technology Platform.
• Knowledge of Clean Core methodology and BTM integrated Toolchains (e.g. LeanIX, CALM, Signavio) is desirable.
• Customer-facing skills:
o Excellent interpersonal, strong verbal and written communication, and solid presentation skills in Italian and in English
o Ability to present complex information in a clear and precise manner with non-technical audience
o Ability to capture customer requirements and translate them into software specifications
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead customer engagements at an executive level
• Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
• Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences
• Exposure to South Korea localization from a customer satisfaction & culture perspective
• Good understanding of industry and/or LoB (Line of Businesses) specific business processes
• Holistic understanding of the relevant end-to-end processes of SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise Suite
• Having performed feasibility studies / PoC (Proof of Concept) will be an added advantage
• Good understanding of public cloud software Managerial Experience will be an added advantage
• Having experience in one of the S/4HANA & LoB (Line of Businesses) solutions will be an added advantage
• Exposure to ECC to S4HANA Conversion will be an added advantage
• Ability to estimate the financial impact of various solution architecture alternatives
• Korean language: Fluent with the local language is must
• Demonstrates effective emotional intelligence English: Fluent
• University degree or equivalent work experience Professional Training & Certification
• Any SAP Solution Certification will be an added advantage
• Readiness to travel in the range of "0-100%”
TRAVEL
Mostly within Korea, but ready to travel for assignments within APAC or other Global Regions (short term or long term)
LOCATION
This position is based in Korea and relocation is not considered an option.
