Aerotek Process Technician in Seneca, South Carolina
Hiring Process Technicians
2nd shift: 3:30pm- 12a
3rd shift: 11:30p-8a
$$25-32.5hr
Responsibilities
Assist with Mold Setter.
Set-up and start-up of injected molding machines.
Apply injection molding principles and molding theories to troubleshoot and process molding operations.
Perform mold and color changes on injection machines.
Work with Material Handlers and Machine Operators to ensure raw materials within the work cell are readily available.
Monitor machine operation for compliance with all ISO, health, safety, quality, and efficiency standards; analyze and lead continuous improvements.
Collaborate with Tool Room, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment and quality problems within the molding cell.
Evaluate scrap reduction techniques within the work cell.
Monitor and document daily process conditions, logging changes, and drafting detailed mold repair work information.
Ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization of the work area.
Essential Skills
2-4 years of injection molding process experience required.
Experience with injection molding machines.
Ability to set up and understand processing including water, material, and tool understanding (cores, hot tips, and hydraulic cores).
Forklift certification required or ability to attain certification upon employment.
Computer proficiency with Windows, Excel, and Word.
Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
Strong mechanical aptitude, analytical mindset, reasoning abilities, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience with troubleshooting and production in a cleanroom environment.
Ability to work overtime as required.
Strong motivation and capability to meet the company's goals.
Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
