Kelly Services CNC Programmer in Seneca Falls, New York
At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we’re seeking a CNC Programmer to join our innovative manufacturing team in Seneca Falls, NY. With us, it's all about providing the perfect opportunity for your career to flourish! This is a long-term temporary opportunity with strong potential for permanent hire.
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00/hr. 12mo. Contract.
A Shift: 7am to 3:30pm, Mon-Fri.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize CNC programs for lathes, milling centers, and multi-axis machines using MasterCam or similar CAM software
Interpret blueprints and 3D CAD models to create accurate offline programs
Analyze work orders to determine optimal machining processes, tooling, speeds, and fixturing
Create setup sheets and tool lists for shop use
Run simulations, validate processes, and ensure quality and efficiency
Perform quality checks and refine programs to improve performance and safety
Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and production teams
Support Lean initiatives, including setup reduction and continuous improvement (Kaizen)
Follow all safety protocols and promote a strong safety culture
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or trade certification required
3+ years of CNC machining and programming experience
Strong knowledge of CNC machines and machining processes
Experience with MasterCam or similar CAM software preferred
Familiarity with Creo (Pro/E) or similar design software
Macro programming experience is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
Strong math skills (algebra, geometry, trigonometry)
Ability to read, write, and follow detailed instructions in English
Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement preferred
