Creble Nursery Farm Worker in Selkirk, New York
2 Fulltime H-2A Seasonal Jobs available 4/1/2026 - 12/3/2026.
Duties may include: Operate machinery and equipment to fertilize, cultivate, and spray green houses, crops, and plants. Inspect plants and bud counts to assess quality. Spray plants and flowers with prescribed herbicides, fungicides, or pesticides to control disease and insects.
Tend to livestock (goats): guarding from predatory animals and from poisonous plants, feeding, and maintaining farmlands and fields & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.
Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Lifting requirement of 50 lbs.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures, repetitive movements,
- Extensive pushing/pulling, extensive walking, and frequent stooping/bending.
