ManpowerGroup Senior Buyer in Selah, Washington
Our client, a well‑established manufacturing organization, is seeking a Senior Buyer to join their Purchasing team. The ideal candidate will bring deep purchasing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to navigate change in a production‑driven environment.
Job Title: Senior Buyer
Location: Onsite (Relocation package available)
Salary: $80,200–$88,000 base + 6% incentive target
What’s the Job?
Manage purchasing activities aligned with production schedules and business demand
Execute purchasing through ERP or planned purchasing systems
Review and implement ECNs (Engineering Change Notices), including changes related to re‑branding and scheduling
Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and service
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers
Monitor and manage inventory levels to support manufacturing needs
Collaborate closely with internal teams and cross‑functional departments
Represent the company professionally with external vendors and suppliers
Maintain accuracy across purchase orders, inventory data, and supplier information
What’s Needed?
Minimum of 6 years experience in purchasing or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
ERP or planned purchasing system experience driven by production planning or scheduling
Strong Excel proficiency and comfort with purchasing and inventory management software
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Solid understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement and logistics
Degree requirement may be substituted with CPM or CPIM certification

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Confident, timely decision‑making skills
Problem‑solving ability when responding to supply chain challenges
Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines and managing fluctuating demand
