ZT Group Int’l, Inc. d/b/a ZT Systems seeks a Sr. Material Planning Analyst in Secaucus, NJ.Duties: Process Internal and External orders. Communicate on the order status with Customer Operation, builds and shipments. Answer and respond to inquiries regarding placement of orders, adjustments, schedule, and shipment status. Review demand vs. supply to ensure a healthy supply plan. Prepare weekly open order reports and provide projected ship date. Review aging orders and close out with different stakeholders (Customer Operations, procurement, etc.). Follow up on all open orders until PGI (Post Goods Issue). Drive actions to recover in the fastest possible duration based on understanding of root causes for shortages.This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Production Planning, Logistics, or related field, plus 2 years of experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or related role.Requires 2 years of experience with the following skills:• Supply Chain or Production Planning experience.• MS Office applications, including Excel.• Supply chain and production principles, including providing independent judgment and decision making; and reviewing demand vs. supply and setting the right priority to best utilize materials to meet customer needs.• Information gathering and information monitoring, including referring to demand, current forecasts, and projections to plan ahead; and monitoring demand-versus-supply changes to adjust accordingly.• Analytical problem assessment and problem-solving in case of supply risk, coming up with a plan to reduce manufacturing downtime, including by qualifying alternative parts from different suppliers, expediting delivery, and prioritizing available inventory to support priority shipments.In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Production Planning, Logistics, or related field, plus 2 years of experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or related role, theemployer will accept a Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Production Planning, Logistics, or related field plus any amount of experience or knowledge as a Supply Chain Analyst or related role.Requires any amount of experience with the following skills:• Supply Chain or Production Planning experience.• MS Office applications, including Excel.• Supply chain and production principles, including providing independent judgment and decision-making; and reviewing demand vs. supply and setting the right priority to best utilize materials to meet customer needs.• Information gathering and information monitoring, including referring to demand, current forecasts, and projections to plan ahead; and monitoring demand-versus-supply changes to adjust accordingly.• Analytical problem assessment and problem-solving in case of supply risk, coming up with a plan to reduce manufacturing downtime, including by qualifying alternative parts from different suppliers, expediting delivery, and prioritizing available inventory to support priority shipments.Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, or training.ZT Systems offers a comprehensive benefits package to all eligible full-time employees.
