ZT Group Int’l Inc. dba ZT Systems seeks a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer in Secaucus, NJ.Duties: Lead the design, implementation, and measurement of manufacturing processes. Collect and analyze key production metrics such as cycle time and yield to identify opportunities for process or quality improvements. Set factory performance targets and control limits. Lead initiatives to implement process improvements. Identify end-to-end process bottlenecks and take action to alleviate. Determine root cause and resolve factory interruptions. Document, escalate, and improve issues reported by factory team. Assess and prepare for new technologies and product requirements. Assist in determining whether projects are worth pursuing.This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field, plus 2 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or a related role.Requires 2 years with the following skills: • ANSYS and SolidWorks. • Robotic assembly, automated conveyance, machine vision, and pick-and-place. • Excel VBA, Pivot Tables, Pareto analysis, and Control charts. • ISO 9000 standards. • Continuous Improvement, including Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies. • Mining data to draw meaningful conclusions. • Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field, plus 2 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or a related role, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related field, and any amount of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or a related role.Requires any amount of knowledge or experience with the following skills which can be gained through employment, internships, or coursework:• ANSYS and SolidWorks. • Robotic assembly, automated conveyance, machine vision, and pick-and-place. • Excel VBA, Pivot Tables, Pareto analysis, and Control charts. • ISO 9000 standards. • Continuous Improvement, including Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies. • Mining data to draw meaningful conclusions. • Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.ZT Systems offers a comprehensive benefits package to all eligible full-time employees.
