Overview
The Sr. Analyst, Pricing & Promotions, is responsible for delivering analytics, insights, and recommendations that help inform The Vitamin Shoppe’s pricing and promotional strategies. The ideal candidate will be able to synthesize large amounts of data and present information in a simple and actionable way.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and distribute pricing & promotional dashboards to the organization, while providing actionable insights and recommendations
Update and maintain pricing and promotion-related databases, models, tools, and repositories
Analyze, interpret, and communicate the results of pricing & promotional initiatives and tests to key business partners
Support the design and development of analytics tools and dashboards for use by key business partners to better understand and efficiently process pricing-related information
Provide insights and analysis to help stakeholders make informed decisions on maximizing promotional dollars and ROI
Track and report on industry and competitive landscape, identify trends, and provide recommendations on future tactics
Assist with the operational needs of the team, including execution of price changes and maintenance of reporting
Work within systems to test, troubleshoot and execute promotional activities across multiple sales channels
Qualifications
Skills and Abilities:
Self-motivated team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to shifting demands and timelines
Outstanding organizational skills with superior attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects, processes, and assignments with varying deadlines
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate ownership and accountability for all tasks and projects
Working knowledge of SQL
Strong technical background using POS, PIM, & ERP systems
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related field of study
5+ years of experience in pricing, analytics, finance, or related analytical roles
