Job Description:
- Using Thai culinary training, preparing and cooking food pursuant to the Employer's high standards
- Planning, designing, and developing recipes and menus, taking into account such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients and the likely number of customers
- Determining how food should be presented, and creating decorative food displays
- Supervising and Training prep cooks in the Thai culinary arts
- Checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met
- Checking the quantity and quality of received products
- Checking stock levels and ordering supplies
- Determining production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services
- Following standards and regulations regarding sanitary practices
- Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
Train less skilled kitchen staff in the Thai culinary arts
Wage (Level 3-4): $47,000-51,000/year
Requirement: 2-3 years of Thai cooking experience
