Sinclair Broadcast Group Temporary Newscast Director in Seattle, Washington
KOMO/KUNS is looking for a Director for our Newscast. We are looking to fill these temporary positions for approximately 6 weeks and 12 weeks.
Responsibilities:
Perform any production duties as assigned
Direct any assigned newscast using Ross Overdrive
Code assist any newscast using INEWS with Ross Overdrive Plugin.
Maintain production studio and control room
Teleprompt any newscast
Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned.
Requirements:
Experience directing newscasts using Ross Overdrive
Knowledge of production standards and equipment
Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure
Typing and good spelling skills necessary
Ability to read and write, college degree preferred
Must be able to lift & position 40 pound lighting instruments
Flexible Schedule (Able to work any shift including weekends and early mornings)
Strong work ethic
Ability to work effectively with other production team members

The hourly compensation wage for this temporary position is $30.00. Temporary employees earn sick time based on hours worked.
