UW Medicine Supply Chain Management has an outstanding opportunity for a full time SUPPLY CHAIN TECHNICIAN LEAD .
WORK SCHEDULE
100% FTE
Mondays - Fridays
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Lead others and receive, warehouse, courier, and deliver general, medical, and surgical supplies throughout various healthcare settings
Performs advanced supply chain duties such as receiving purchase orders or transporting supplies in vans and cargo trucks
Ensures that established priorities are carried out and deadlines are met to support the work of the UW Medicine Supply Chain
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
UW Medicine Supply Chain’s objective is to ensure our patient care experience is enhanced by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise. This includes a primary focus on customer service, as well as maintaining appropriate levels of general, medical, and surgical supplies throughout each facility.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Trains Supply Chain staff.
Participates in planning staff schedules and interviewing and evaluating job applicants.
Delivers supplies and packages to various nursing units, clinics, and other locations utilizing appropriate signature technologies.
Assists with cycle counts and physical inventories.
Utilize various computer technologies such as handhelds, package scanners, and software programs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduation or equivalent AND one year of supply chain experience.
Equivalent education and experience considered except where legally required.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Driving vans and cargo trucks that do not require a CDL, requiring valid Washington State Driver’s License.
Compensation, Benefits and Position Details
Pay Range Minimum:
$23.19 hourly
Pay Range Maximum:
$33.14 hourly
