UW Medical Center-Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Fixed Duration Variable Shift/Intermittent Supply Chain Technician 1.

WORK SCHEDULE

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

UW Medicine Supply Chain Management enhances our patient care experience by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

  • Make sure healthcare providers at the No. 1 Hospital in WA State have access to vital medical supplies and equipment

  • Serve as an important contributor supporting the patient care experience

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBLIITIES

  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining adequate stock and distributing general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment throughout the hospital

  • Manage rental equipment using Supply Chain point-of-use (POU) systems

  • Use tech like handhelds, package scanners, and Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS) to ensure proper inventory and cost allocations

REQUIREMENTS

High school graduation

Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$21.84 hourly

Pay Range Maximum:

$29.40 hourly
