PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $128,900.00-$157,500.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $99,900.00 - $186,400.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:

You'll play a critical role in strengthening the quality, stability, and reliability of BECU's digital platforms by driving advanced automation and test engineering practices. As a senior member of the SIAM ecosystem, your work will directly reduce production defects, accelerate release cycles, and improve the online and mobile banking experience for our members. You'll bring seniorlevel judgment and autonomy to complex testing challenges, influencing system design and quality strategy across teams. Through leadership, mentorship, and handson execution, you'll help raise QE maturity and consistency across the organization. Simply put-when we ship better software, our members feel the difference.

To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, SC, NC, CA or VA. If you're located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Lead Advanced Test Automation:You'll design, build, and maintain robust automated test frameworks, scripts, and test data models to expand automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort across releases.

Ensure Testable, HighQuality Design:You'll partner closely with developers, architects, and product owners to ensure systems and services are designed with testability, quality, and scalability in mind.

Drive Quality Engineering Strategy:You'll help shape and execute the team's testing roadmap and vision, aligning QE practices across multiple SIAM teams and crossdomain partners.

Improve System Reliability:You'll analyze production issues, identify gaps across the testing stack, perform root cause analysis, and implement systemic improvements to prevent recurrence.
