Amazon Sr. Product Manager - Tech, Kindle Unlimited in Seattle, Washington

Kindle Unlimited brings the advantages of subscriptions to the world of digital reading. With millions of Kindle books and thousands of audiobooks, magazines, and comics available to subscribers, Kindle Unlimited has something to offer for almost every reader.

We are seeking a product leader to join our Kindle Unlimited team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing long-term vision and strategy for the global Kindle Unlimited subscription, focusing on customer engagement and content discovery, including personalized content recommendations. You will partner closely with the Kindle Unlimited leadership team and key leaders from stakeholder organizations to define the innovative, customer-facing initiatives that will scale and optimize subscription growth in order to reach more readers. You will also work closely with and influence tech teams, marketing, design, science and analytics, and finance to bring your vision and strategy to life.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong product management track record, ability to influence senior leaders, and the right balance between innovation and delivering viable, customer-facing solutions that reinforce Kindle Unlimited's position as the worlds most loved reading subscription.

Key job responsibilities

  • Identifying long-term customer and business opportunities and translating these opportunities into vision and strategy.

  • Influencing multiple product roadmaps end-to-end, from ideation, research, experimentation, and go-to-market.

  • Raising the bar within the Kindle Unlimited product team by coaching and contributing to the development of Sr. Product Managers, Technical.

  • Partnering with engineering leaders to build innovative products and influencing technical discussions and decisions.

  • Managing prioritization, tradeoffs, and cross-functional communication across multiple organization across Amazon

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
