The Performance Marketing Finance team offers a rich learning experience and an opportunity to develop professionally. Amazon seeks a Sr. Financial Analyst to join the US Marketing Finance team. We are responsible for managing a portfolio of marketing investments across a diverse set of off-Amazon channels (Influencers, Creators, Social Media) which are used to drive new and existing customers to the Amazon store. We measure and track these investments with the aim of optimizing long term free cash flow. This role will be a key partner in directly supporting controllership, data, reporting and analytics across both Social Media and Creators Marketing Channels. This position will build robust reporting infrastructure, mechanisms and tools to surface key analytical insights and offer decision support in a rapidly evolving space. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys partnering deeply with a business unit.
Key job responsibilities
Serve as a internal finance partner to various Marketing Channel Finance owners
Lead financial reporting for high visibility leadership deliverables and cross-collaborate with Stores Finance Analytics on automation and scale.
Lead data governance mechanisms in collaboration with diverse set of stakeholders to own and drive high fidelity financial reporting
Develop, report, and analyze key input metrics that support business reviews
Influence business decisions with effective verbal and written communication, data driven analysis and modeling, and presentation of options and alternatives
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
Preferred Qualifications
MBA, or CPA
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
