The full Pay Range is $110,100.00 - $204,900.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role. This role drives performance optimization through proactive monitoring and tuning,leveragesautomation and Infrastructure-as-Code forefficiency, andresolves complex issues. Acting as a trusted advisor, theSeniorDBE partners with delivery teams to recommend solutions andmentorsto elevate technical standards. To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA,OR,ID,AZ, TX, GA,NC, VA, CA,or SC.Ifyou'relocatedinWashington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we arerequestingthat you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. Automate forEfficiency:Develop and manage automated processes usingSQL,PowerShell,andIaCtostreamline operations across the ecosystem. Create Impactful Solutions:Use tools like SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSASand Azure Data Factoryto deliver solutions that solvereal businesschallenges. Advance CI/CD Practices:Build and enhance pipelines for database artifacts, ensuring smooth deployments and continuous improvement. Monitor and Optimize:UtilizeSQL Server Profiler, Extended Events, and Query Store to proactivelymonitorand tune performance. Be the Go-To Expert:Provide escalated support and resolve complex issues to keep systems running seamlessly. Mentor and Inspire:Guidejunior engineers and delivery teams through coaching, code reviews, and sharing best practices. Shape the Future:Collaborate with architects and product owners to define technology roadmaps and drive innovation. Champion Quality:Identifyopportunities for improvement and implement changes that elevate system performance and reliability.
