This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. As part of a hardworking team of engineers, you willfacilitateconfiguration development and integrationofNew Glenn's Upper Stage and Payload Accommodations (GS2PA)for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects ofGS2PASystem Design. You will integrate between sub-systems to define the best design solutions across the vehicle structural, mechanical, fluids and electrical subsystems. You willassistin configuration management and in Engineering Change Requests (ECR's). You will create and manage multiple vehicle configurations and ensure they supportdown streammaterial requirement planning. Minimum Qualifications: B.S. degree in engineering and at least 10 years of experience in the development and packaging of aerospace vehicle primary structures and systems Demonstrated experience coordinating implementation of complex engineering changes across multiple vehicle in a production environment operating at rate Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills and experience working in a highly integrated cross-functional team environment Strong competency in PTC Creo and Windchill Strong designand integration skills using 3-D CAD software and visualization tools Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling and planning principles and tools Preferred Qualifications: B.S. degree in engineering and at least 15 years of experience or M.S. degree in engineering and at least 12yearsof experience Strong GD&T skills and experience with large tolerance stack-up analysis Experience in Catia Participated in a recognized configuration management training (CMII) Knowledge of aerospace vehicle fabrication and assembly techniques and related quality control concepts Ability to interpret and apply high-level system requirements to practical design solutions Compensation Range for: WA applicants is $145,188.00 - $203,263.20 Other site ranges may differ Culture Statement Don't meet all desired requirements?
