Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support the transformation and expansion of an enterprise Portfolio Tools and Reporting stack within an Agile/EPMO environment. This role is critical to preparing high-quality work for delivery teams, partnering closely with business stakeholders and vendors, and driving holistic solutions that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and optimize cost.
This is a highly collaborative, customer-facing role suited for an experienced analyst who goes beyond order taking to uncover root causes, challenge assumptions, and deliver value-driven outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Elicit, analyze, and document high-quality business and system requirements
Translate complex or ambiguous business needs into actionable backlogs and functional solutions
Build, refine, and manage epics, features, and user stories within Azure DevOps
Partner with stakeholders across varying levels of Agile and tool maturity
Support enterprise-wide training, standards adoption, and issue troubleshooting
Collaborate with external vendors (e.g., enterprise tool providers) on solution design and proof of concepts
Help shift teams from traditional, phase-based tracking toward value- and outcome-focused delivery
Prepare and prioritize work for delivery teams across multiple parallel efforts
Required Skills & Experience
senior -level Business Systems Analysis experience with strong requirements elicitation and solution design skills
Hands-on Azure DevOps (ADO) experience, including building and navigating backlogs
Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices and how work flows through Agile tools
Ability to engage effectively with both traditional PMO stakeholders and mature Agile teams
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to coach, enable, and support users with varying levels of tool and process maturity
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
