Uber Technologies, Inc. has an opening for a Software Engineer in Seattle, WA. May telecommute.
Job Duties: Design, develop, and test software applications. Design, develop, and/or test software applications using company technology stack. Apply technical knowledge to evaluate complex data, developments, and projects in order to provide recommendations to resolve technical issues. Support the company's business operations and improve engineering productivity. Build software components that can be integrated into a fully functional software system. Solve production issues in product and system reliability.
Job Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Data Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or related field, and two years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires two years in:
- C++, Python, Java, Golang, GIT, or SVN;
- SQL or MySQL;
- Data structures and algorithms development and functionality;
- Designing technology stacks;
- Debugging and monitoring for production services;
- Distributed systems;
- Software Development Lifecycle;
- IT operations and networking;
Incident troubleshooting.

The total base annual salary range for this position is $167,000 to $204,000.
