ADOBE SYSTEMS INC Software Development Engineer in Seattle, Washington
Participate in all aspects of software development activities, including design, coding, code review, unit testing, integration testing, and bug fixing; design services that scale: proxies, caching, and asynchronous processing; collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure superb end-to-end user experience for our customers; prototype ideas and concepts and research the latest industry trends; perform code reviews with team members to improve quality of contribution; handle system design of multiple services on the platform; and resolve problems involving interactions among multiple services. May allow for partial telecommuting. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Development Engineer-related occupation. Position requires 36 months of experience in the following • RESTful service development; • Data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design/programming; • Java; • Relational databases, NoSQL datastores, and data access patterns and strategies; • Building secure, scalable, and highly available service and scalable APIs; • Authentication tools such as OAuth or JWT; • Integrating third-party APIs; • Web server technologies such as HTTP servers, caching, proxies, or load balancers; and • Spring framework, AWS, New Relic, and Splunk.
