Workstream 1: Data Management (In collaboration with leadership, build and maintain a scalable, reliable, and high-quality data ecosystem to power insights and decision-making across the team.) Key Responsibilities: * Data Platform Oversight: Manage and optimize existing and expanding data assets across the Enterprise Data Platform (Azure Databricks), Power BI (Partner Intelligence workspace), and third-party integrations (Candid organization and grant data, Wealth-X data). * Salesforce Integration: Lead the ongoing integration of Salesforce data with the Enterprise Data Platform to ensure data alignment, availability, and accuracy across systems. * Data Quality Management: * Develop and manage a data quality monitoring process for Salesforce and third-party data (e.g., giving vehicle, account, and philanthropic details). * Design and maintain a data quality dashboard and facilitate periodic reviews with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and remediate issues. * Access & Enablement: * Support data consumers by maintaining and enhancing Power BI dashboards, updating Salesforce fields, and developing data documentation, training, and resources. * Serve as a data steward and advisor to PPT request processors, ensuring consistency and understanding of data use. * Data Management Best Practices: * Implement metadata standards, naming conventions, and version control. * Establish data request intake processes. * Contribute to data lifecycle documentation and retention practices. Workstream 2: Data Governance (Establish and operationalize the policies, roles, standards and systems that ensure data is reliable, secure, accurate, and accessible.) Key Responsibilities: * Policy Alignment & Compliance: Ensure all data practices align with organizational data governance policies and compliance standards, including sensitive data handling and access controls. * Security & Technology Oversight: Partner with IT and Information Security to verify that data technologies (especially Azure Databricks and Power BI) have proper access, encryption, and security protocols. * Policy Interpretation & Localization: * Translate enterprise data governance policies for team -specific needs. * Develop practical guidance for the Partner Intelligence team to operationalize these policies. * Gap Identification & Escalation: Identify areas where organizational data policy is insufficient (e.g., new datasets, evolving data use cases) and collaborate with Legal, Information Security, and leadership to address gaps. * Role Definition: Establish and maintain a data stewardship framework, clearly defining data owners, data stewards, and data consumers within team. * Governance Communication: Co-lead change management and awareness efforts for governance updates, fostering a data-driven and compliant culture. Workstream 3: Data Analytics & Innovation (Leverage traditional and advanced analytics to generate insights, improve efficiency, and inform strategy across team.) Key Responsibilities: * Analytical Insights: * Conduct descriptive analyses (e.g., year-over-year giving trends, partner segmentation, relationship patterns). * Build or help identify opportunities for statistical and/or machine learning models (e.g., clustering, predictive forecasting) to identify partner opportunities and trends. * Tool Optimization & Innovation: * Explore and implement
