Senior Manager, Data Engineering, PwC US Tax LLP, Seattle, WA. Design and develop data infrastructure and systems to support efficient data processing and analysis. Create and implement data pipelines, integration, and transformation solutions. Utilize modern cloud-based technologies, perform quality assurance, and manage workstream financials to ensure project alignment. Propose effective solutions and support practice growth through innovative technology and strategic initiatives. Manage client expectations and identify new opportunities. Supervise and coach professional teams.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. The salary range is $212,202 - $251,000/year, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology and Management, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 6 years of related work experience, of which at least 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology and Management, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 4 years of related work experience.
Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:
- Architecting and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend APIs and plugins that leverage Azure Functions in Python and C# to create solutions for Generative AI (GenAI) applications;
- Overseeing code reviews for extensive codebases in Python, C#, and other languages to identify and mitigate risks;
- Developing the MVP for cutting-edge technologies Gen AI apps, emphasizing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines, leveraging advanced LLMs and sophisticated ML algorithms;
- Managing project budgets and timelines using Agile methodologies, coordinating business requirement meetings, overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Pilot, and Quality Assurance (QA)testing, and preparing user guides and other standard project deliverables.
80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.
Domestic and/or international travel up to 80% is required.
