Join the Starbucks Planning team to demand plan on our exciting food and lobby team! You will have the opportunity to drive our demand shaping process, integrate with finance, and help to us to become a demand driven planning organization. This role will support prepared food items that are served in our North American stores.
As a senior demand planner, Prepared Food , you will…
Own the forecasting process incorporating statistical models, business strategies, marketing information, and emerging trends to drive an accurate demand plan.
Work with various stakeholders like finance and product to influence item launches, demand shaping opportunities, analyze waste profiles, derive compelling forecast scenarios, drive demand plan consensus, and align with business strategies and objectives.\
Seek continuous improvement opportunities to drive forecast accuracy improvements
Be highly involved in our limited time offering products, innovation, and help shape the food innovation pipeline at Starbucks Coffee Company
Have an entrepreneurial mindset, always look for ways to use our unique view on the business to drive positive change for our customers and food sales
Mentor other planners, as a team we grow stronger working together
We’d love to hear from people with:
Progressive supply chain experience and managing demand plans and forecasting, 3+ years
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and planning systems.
Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
Experience in implementing planning processes.
An endlessly curious growth mindset – willing to dive into data to drive business decisions.
Great ability to communicate to a broad range of audiences and senior leaders.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
