What You'll Do
The QA Technician supports production by performing hands-on quality checks on the plant floor. This role partners closely with cross functional teams to monitor formulas throughout the process, support food safety programs and ensure products meet internal and regulatory standards.
Perform routine line audits, case inspections, and in‑process quality checks on production lines
Conduct finished product sampling, in‑line inspections, and real‑time quality verification
Place and release QA product holds in accordance with procedures
Identify, investigate, and document out‑of‑specification materials
Complete HACCP and HACQP checks during production
Enter quality results and inspection data into SAP
Maintain accurate production‑floor quality documentation and records
Support equipment checks, calibration activities, and recordkeeping
Manage sample retention and prepare pre‑shipment samples
Perform sensory checks of products as required
Support continuous quality and food safety compliance on the plant floor
Assist with additional quality tasks as assigned
Shift Hours for This Role are 100PM to 1030PM with Overtime Available
What You'll Need to Succeed
+ + College diploma or a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Ability to perform routine quality inspections, line audits, and finished product testing in a fast‑paced production setting
Ability to read, understand, and follow quality, laboratory, sensory, and physical testing procedures
Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety principles
Ability to communicate and reinforce food safety and quality requirements on the production floor
Experience using quality or production systems (SAP or similar) and basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office
Ability to accurately complete documentation, recordkeeping, and data entry
Ability to work under time constraints in a high‑speed manufacturing environment
Availability to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as required.
What We Offer
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $31.00 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
