US Tech Solutions Q-SYS AV Control Systems Engineer (Enterprise AV / Workplace Technology) in Seattle, Washington

Job Description:
We are seeking a Q-SYS AV Control Systems Engineer to support a large-scale, enterprise audiovisual environment across global workplace portfolios.
This role is centered on operational reliability, system health, and control system support, ensuring conference room technology performs consistently and issues are identified and resolved before impacting employees.
You will help support an environment consisting of 200 Zoom Rooms and 25 integrated AV control systems (Q-SYS), partnering closely with Workplace Technology and IT teams to deliver a seamless in-room experience.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and support Q-SYS control system configurations across multiple rooms and environments
Ensure high availability and operational reliability of conference room AV systems
Provide hands-on troubleshooting and rapid issue resolution for AV-related incidents
Proactively identify and resolve issues impacting room readiness and user experience
Support day-to-day operations for a large AV estate, including Zoom Rooms and integrated Q-SYS environments
Partner with cross-functional teams to standardize, optimize, and scale AV deployments
Contribute to continuous improvement of AV system performance and reliability
Experience:
Strong experience with Q-SYS Designer (configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting)
Hands-on experience supporting enterprise AV environments (conference rooms, Zoom Rooms, collaboration spaces)
Solid understanding of AV signal flow (audio, video, and control systems)
Experience troubleshooting end-to-end AV issues (hardware, control systems, and basic networking)
Exposure to control logic and scripting (Lua or similar) within AV ecosystems
Ability to diagnose issues in production environments with minimal disruption
Familiarity with DSPs, codecs, cameras, microphones, and touch panel systems
Exposure to standardization and scaling of AV room designs

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
