The Product Marketing Manager will transform how millions of customers engage with Amazon Tablets by developing innovative retention, reactivation and engagement strategies. In this pivotal role, you'll dive deep into customer data, uncover critical insights, and collaborate across teams to create compelling experiences that keep users coming back. You will have strong ownership instincts to align multiple cross functional stakeholders towards common goals, and establish repeatable metric driven inspection mechanisms to hold internal teams accountable to continuously raise the bar for customers.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive insights into customer churn drivers across device types, lifecycle stages, and global segments

  • Create strategic frameworks that translate complex data into actionable retention strategies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align global roadmaps and marketing initiatives

  • Partner with data science teams to evolve predictive customer behavior models

  • Drive global retention improvements by engaging with marketplace leaders and business teams

  • Own business review mechanisms to highlight risks and drive progress on retention inputs

  • Build mechanisms with senior leadership to direct target setting and strategy execution

  • Serve as subject matter expert on churn and engagement metrics, customer research insights, and metrics standardization

A day in the life

Your day will be a dynamic blend of data analysis, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll synthesize complex customer metrics, craft compelling narratives, execute customer facing campaigns and partner with data scientists to develop predictive models that reveal how we can enhance user experiences. From preparing executive-level business reviews to influencing global product roadmaps, you'll be the driving force behind tablet customer retention strategy.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels

  • Experience with paid media and owned and operated channels (i.e. email, onsite, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs

  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

  • Experience in Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
