Blue Origin LLC Process Engineer III in Seattle, Washington

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will support production of the Engines as a ProcessEngineer at ourKent Manufacturing Site.You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of production and manufacturing, so relevant experience in those areas is highly desired. We areseekinga proactive, service-oriented individual with excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and analytics skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be primarily responsible forleadingthe projects focused onmanufacturingautomationin production for both internal and external customers. This position will directlyimpactthe history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Special Mentions: Relocation Provided Responsibilities include but not limited to: Lead Manufacturing Automationinitiativesacross kent site. Manage hardware status, supporting both internal and external demand. Engineerwilldevelopand execute aggressive timeline schedulesfor process developmentand refinement. Candidate must be self-motivated and work well unsupervised, as well as be able to work in team environments. Provide quality assurance domainexpertiseto inspection, manufacturing, and test for the Manufacturing team. Collaborate with internal and external customers on quality related concerns; develop and present training materials to build quality awareness. Manage budgets and implementation of capital equipment and facility projects! Lead planning and execution-centered process improvements to reduce cost, shorten cycle time, improve quality, and enhance safety through risk management. Collaborate with purchasing and supplier management to ensure on-time delivery of hardware and production equipment. Reduce and close risks andidentifyopportunities. Track key program metrics (and associated reporting tools) in areassuch as:budget, engineering schedules, equipment schedules, procurement schedules, production schedules, program management status reports, and resource plans. Lead key business analytics initiatives, asrequired. Minimum Qualifications: B.S. in engineering with5+ years of relevant Quality or Engineering experience. 5+ years' experience leadingAutomationprojects. Strong verbal and technical writing skills area must. Written communication skillsrequiredforwritingworkinstructionsforthe operatorsas well as preparation of qualification reports and other documentation. Quality experience in production environment. Aerospace, space launch, or military or commercial aviation preferred. Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Management System and/or related quality systems and programs. 5 or more years' experience in Manufacturing in a Production Environment. Ability to develop and execute a moderately complicated project plan in all phases. Established negotiating skills and ability to garner acceptance in
