About the Role
We are seeking a Print Production Specialist / Machine Operator to support a busy marketing and communications team. This role will focus on operating and managing a high-end industrial printing system while ensuring high-quality print output.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on print production experience who enjoys working independently while collaborating with a creative team.
Schedule & Assignment Details
Schedule: 20–24 hours per week
Days: 3 days/week (Wednesday–Friday preferred)
Hours: Flexible between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Ideal shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: 6+ months
Start Date: Mid to late May
Key Responsibilities
Operate and manage an industrial Canon C710 printer using Fiery software
Execute print jobs with attention to quality, color, and finish (paper type, thickness, gloss, etc .)
Assist in selecting appropriate paper and materials for print projects
Ensure final deliverables meet quality and production standards
Troubleshoot minor machine or print issues independently
Support team members in learning and using print equipment
Maintain organized and efficient print production workflows
Qualifications
Experience with industrial printing equipment ( Canon C710 preferred )
Familiarity with Fiery software
Experience with finishing equipment (Duplo machine, Morgana trimmer preferred)
Strong understanding of print production (paper types, finishes, output quality)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Work Environment & Additional Info
Business casual dress code (jeans and comfortable shoes OK)
Collaborative team environment with marketing and design staff
Training and equipment overview will be provided
Parking is limited; public transportation is encouraged
