Amazon Principal Technical Program Manager, AMX Employee Listening in Seattle, Washington

Key job responsibilities
Work closely with technical leaders and product managers to compose and influence the product vision, roadmap, org goals, planning, and backlog prioritization.
Lead high-visibility, cross-team initiatives including scoping, requirements gathering, technical design, implementation, and launch phases. This includes evaluating and recommending technical solutions to meet customer requirements, ensuring long-term scalability, and meeting project timelines.
Identify system and process deficiencies and lead the charge to drive meaningful change. This includes writing effective narratives and presenting them to Directors and VPs.
Engage with other HR teams to proactively identify integration points within talent management systems.
Be a technical problem solver on the team, identifying innovative solutions to prevent deadlocks and resolving issues and constraints through consensus and sound judgment.
Help teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes (e.g. requirements not sufficiently understood/documented, ineffective cross-team collaboration, inadequate system design, insufficient testing/gaps in QA, etc.)
Demonstrate strong program management, organizational, and leadership skills to facilitate effective, collaborative project meetings.
Collaborate with some of the best engineers in the industry.
Contribute to delivering highly available, performant, and secure software at Amazon scale.

Meet with Product, Science and Tech leadership to identify areas to improve and grow employee listening at Amazon.
Build and run org-wide mechanisms.
Attend and influence design discussions.
Drive quarterly and yearly organization planning.
Lead delivery of x-team and x-org initiatives.

This teams serves as Amazon's central hub for employee feedback, providing tools and systems that collect, analyze, and deliver employee feedback and insights across the entire company.
Our ecosystem reaches nearly 2.4 million Amazon employees and affiliates daily.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of engineering experience
7+ years of technical product or program management experience
5+ years of software development experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
