Job Information
Amazon Principal Product Manager - Tech, AWS Unified Operations in Seattle, Washington
Description
The world's largest enterprises build their most critical operations on AWS. Financial institutions that move trillions daily. Airlines coordinating thousands of flights. Healthcare systems where every minute matters. When these customers think about operational risk, they're thinking about real-world consequences—not just dashboards.
AWS Unified Operations (UOps) partners with these customers to help them achieve operational excellence. We combine proactive resilience engineering, rapid incident response, and continuous improvement for workloads that demand the highest standards.
We're looking for a product leader to help define how we deliver on this mission at scale. You'll work on service models, mechanisms, and customer outcomes—shaping what premium operational partnership looks like as we grow from hundreds of enterprise customers toward thousands.
You'll join a team that's building something new. UOps launched to general availability in late 2024, which means there's real customer traction and real ambiguity. You'll have the opportunity to define structure, not just execute within it.
Key job responsibilities
You'll own product strategy for a capability area within UOps. What that area is will depend on your strengths and where the business needs the most leverage—we're not hiring for a predefined box.
Your work will likely include defining service delivery models, establishing mechanisms that scale, setting success metrics tied to customer outcomes, and partnering with delivery and engineering teams to make it real.
About the team
We serve enterprise customers across financial services, technology, healthcare, and critical infrastructure. The team operates at the intersection of AWS's deepest technical expertise and our largest customers' most important workloads.
This is a team where your work has consequences. When we get it right, enterprises trust AWS with operations they couldn't trust to anyone else. That's the job.
